As part of the STRIDE project, the Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP) plays an important role in supporting the consortium in achieving the goal of enhancing educational equity and inclusion across Europe. As part of STRIDE, LLLP will engage stakeholders, and work together with the research teams to transform their findings into actionable policy recommendations to implement positive changes in education.
Engaging with Stakeholders
LLLP is tasked with implementing a dissemination strategy that contributes to enhancing public knowledge on the value of longitudinal data in policy making and its usefulness for policy learning at national and EU levels. In order to reach out different types of stakeholders, LLLP will implement various actions such as through digital means with dissemination in social media and the website as well as through advocacy and networking actions. Given LLLP’s expertise at EU level, the advocacy and networking will be targeted to EU institutions in order to disseminate the research findings and engage in discussions for improved policies in education through meetings and events organised in Brussels. In addition, monitoring what is happening with other Horizon and/or Erasmus+ funded programmes is also part of LLLP’s activities as this will ensure that the work of STRIDE is connected with other relevant initiatives.
LLLP, together with OsloMet, will also support partners working at national level with their National Stakeholder Groups (NSGs). At this level, seminars will be organised to bring educators, policymakers, and civil society representatives together to discuss and provide feedback on the research findings. By facilitating these discussions, STRIDE partners will ensure that the perspectives and needs of stakeholders from diverse educational contexts are integrated into the project’s outputs.
Transforming research results into actionable policy recommendations
LLLP will work in the coming months with research partners to develop a comprehensive policy brief that addresses equity, equality, and inclusion in European educational policies. The policy brief will bring together research insights and stakeholder contributions with the aim to offer clear and actionable recommendations aimed at reducing educational inequalities, in this way supporting policymakers to develop future reforms promoting a more inclusive educational landscape across Europe.
